Wild Goose Chase

Hi there!

I'm super excited to share that my new painting titled Wild Goose Chase has been selected as a finalist in the upcoming Bayside Painting Prize!

While most road signs offer us guidance and clear direction, Wild Goose Chase instead reminds us that we never really know what’s up ahead. A timely reminder to not get too distracted chasing something in the future at the expense of what’s in front of us in the present.

I'm thrilled to be showing this piece in such a fantastic space alongside so many great artists. The 2024 Bayside Painting Prize opens at Bayside Gallery on Thursday May 2nd from 6-8pm, and is on until June 23rd.

And in other news, last weekend I ran in the 14.4km "Run For The Kids" fun run for the Royal Children's Hospital.

The Royal Children's Hospital is a place that means a lot to me, as growing up I spent quite a bit of time there prior to receiving my spine surgery in 2009. It feels very full circle and meaningful that 15 years later I was able to run in this amazing Children's Hospital fundraiser.

Thanks so much for reading, hope you have a nice rest of the week!
