Foster the people

Hi, hope you're going well!

Here's a ceramic sculpture I made in 2023 of a can of Foster's.

This sculpture is based on a can from the 1960's that was found by excavators while they were digging the new Melbourne metro train tunnel.

The full series of artworks I made based on objects that were found during this dig is now on permanent display in the Melbourne Town Hall. For more info on this project, and to see the full series, click here!

In related news, I'm excited to share that this series has just been featured in a new book, titled Embellish, which launched this week at the National Gallery of Victoria.

In other news, it was so nice to be in Sydney recently to show some new works with MARS Gallery as part of Sydney Contemporary.

Here's a pic with three of my sign paintings, all of which have found wonderful new homes.
