Thanks so much to everyone who made it to my exhibition opening at MARS Gallery last weekend! I've been totally blown away by the support and am so happy to be able to share the work with you all.

Here's one of the new large-scale works featured in the show, this piece is hand painted and made of sculpted aluminium.
When carefully re-creating this one, I loved imagining the way the original list would've been quickly folded up and stuffed into someones pocket.

Each list in the show is full of surprises, as well as humour and humanity, they read as both a poem and as anonymous portraits of the people we pass in the supermarket aisles.

In other exciting news, the Deakin University Contemporary Small Sculpture Award opens from 6pm on Wednesday August 28 at Deakin Art Gallery.
Huge congrats to the other finalists and entrants, I'm so thrilled to have my piece Hold Your Horses selected as a finalist in this award.
Hold Your Horses is my first bronze sculpture, and playfully encourages reflection on the art of slowing down.
