Going pear shaped!

Hello, I'm super excited to introduce you to my new inflatable sculpture called The World's Gone Pear Shaped!

Definitely my biggest sculpture to date, this work playfully uses humour as an entry point to thinking about larger ideas around climate and politics, and serves as a hopeful reminder that despite going pear shaped things can still be fruitful.

You can see it alongside new paintings and sculpture in my upcoming solo show at MARS Gallery, from May 25 to June 12.

The exhibition opening is this Saturday May 28th from 4pm to 6pm, everyone welcome, would love to see you there!

For more info please visit the MARS Gallery website by clicking here.

If you'd like to preview the full exhibition catalogue, featuring an essay by artist and writer Diego Ramirez, please click here!

If you're interested in purchasing an artwork please email andy@marsgallery.com.au

Thanks so much for reading, I hope you're going well and that your week is off to a flying start!

Speaking of flying, here's a new painting in the exhibition titled Ford Falcon Dreaming of Flying.
