Chips Ahoy!

Hi, here's a new painting called Passing Each Other Like Chips In The Night.

This painting is 124cm x 94cm, framed in Australian hardwood and is featured in my new solo show on now at MARS Gallery.

Huge thanks to everyone who made it to the exhibition opening on Saturday it was such a fun afternoon. A lot of the work in this show was made in isolation and it’s been so special to be able to share it with everyone and see it connect with people.

The exhibition is on until June 12 so if you get the chance to have a look I’d really appre-chip-ate it!

Going pear shaped!

Hello, I'm super excited to introduce you to my new inflatable sculpture called The World's Gone Pear Shaped!

Definitely my biggest sculpture to date, this work playfully uses humour as an entry point to thinking about larger ideas around climate and politics, and serves as a hopeful reminder that despite going pear shaped things can still be fruitful.

You can see it alongside new paintings and sculpture in my upcoming solo show at MARS Gallery, from May 25 to June 12.

The exhibition opening is this Saturday May 28th from 4pm to 6pm, everyone welcome, would love to see you there!

Sixty-four 64 Games

Hi there, here's a new series of 64 ceramic sculptures called Sixty-four 64 Games.

When I was younger I would get endless excitement from looking at the seemingly infinite number of games at the video shop, and the slow process of hand sculpting, kiln firing and hand painting each of these 64 sculptures has perhaps brought me the same level of purpose and joy that playing the actual games did.

This series is an ode
to escapism, comfort and attempting to create order from chaos.

This is a series I first began working on in 2014, and I'm really excited to finally present the completed series in my upcoming solo exhibition, titled The World's Gone Pear Shaped, at MARS Gallery from May 25 to June 12.

Each sculpture in the series is signed and numbered 1-64, and each measure approximately 12cm x 8cm x 1.8cm. Each sculpture has a wall hanging device installed in its back so is easily wall hangable.

Please email andy@marsgallery.com.au to make a purchase, or if you'd like to preview the catalogue.

Please feel free to email me on kennypittock@gmail.com if you have any questions at all.

The exhibition opening is on Saturday May 28th from 4pm-6pm, hope to see you there! For more info please click here.
