Hello, hope you're going well!
In exciting news, I've curated a show at the Melbourne Town Hall Gallery titled From Mundane to Friday: The Art of Everyday Melbourne.
The exhibition explores what can be learned about ourselves through the seemingly mundane and transient objects we leave behind.
The exhibition opening is next Wednesday April 20, from 6pm, and will be opened by Lord Mayor Sally Capp, and artist Elizabeth Gower will be the guest speaker. All are welcome, hopefully see you there!
Melbourne Town Hall Gallery is located at 90-120 Swanston Street, Melbourne.
From Mundane to Friday: The Art of Everyday Melbourne is free, and open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, until July 22. The gallery is fully wheelchair and pram accessible.
I've also written an essay to accompany the exhibition, if you'd like to read it but are unable to get to the exhibition then send me an email and I can send you a copy of the catalogue.
