This series of work, half created during lockdown and half created well before, shows the contrasting worlds of pre and post pandemic. Featuring a series of train drawings completed in 2014 on my commute to art school, showing maskless commuters blissfully unaware of social distancing on their journeys in and out of the city. These works sit alongside a newer body of ceramic sculptures that playfully hint at feelings of deflation and anxiety in our forever changed world.
And in exciting news this video has recently been playing on the big screen at Federation Square, a big thanks to the great artist Haley Millar Baker for taking this pic.
