End-list-ly devoted

Hi! Here's a new ceramic sculpture of a shopping list I found whilst working at a supermarket during Melbournes lockdown last year.

During lockdown many people passed the time by picking up new hobbies, like giving themselves haircuts, adopting pets, and giving their pets haircuts.

This list was written by someone who used their time to plan out a weeks worth of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners.

Here's a photo of the actual list.

This sculpture is one of a series of ten new ceramic sculptures of shopping lists, each list tells a story of its anonymous writer during lockdown. To see them all, follow along this week on Artspace's instagram account @52artists52actions, where I'll be posting them from now until Sunday April 18.

52 Artists 52 Actions is an online project presented by Artspace, where every week for a year they commission a new series of work. You can find out more about the project by clicking here!
