Answer; cause I'm a loser. Why do people read it? That's a bit trickier for me to think about, I'm not sure, there're probably a few different people who read it for a few different reasons, but I guess in general I'd hope that anyone who reads this blog gets some kind of positive experience out of it. I think it's a bit different from facebook and emailing because when you contribute to those you become a part of someones feed or inbox, whereas I like the blog because the only people who read it are people who specifically go out of their way to do so.

It's nice that the author of the man-crush article you linked to actually does mention blogs, although in the article he also writes "there probably isn't a man alive who doesn't have a man crush on Prince Harry", ha, and no offence to the Prince but I definitely do not, and I'm confident there are dozens of countries full of alive men who also don't, which makes me question the academic research and scientific credibility of the entire article.Kenny Pittockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12707257776776194296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3787981048379537605.post-72395077917086173512015-05-23T08:16:57.577+10:002015-05-23T08:16:57.577+10:00Hey Paul, yeah I guess you're right, an online...Hey Paul, yeah I guess you're right, an online store part of my website is something I could maybe look into into. Maybe, I'm not sure if I wanna go down that route as I like the system I've got now where people email me and I talk with them directly about the work they'd like, although yeah maybe with things like my self published books it might be something worth investigating.
Thanks heaps for all the nice words, although I can't imagine the world would be tooooo worse a place if I ended up writing movie scripts for millions of dollars. I mean, for starters just think of all the greasy cold fish and chips I could buy, and a pair of shorts in every colour of the rainbow. Maybe an 'I heart Perth' t-shirt without a stain, and maybe even the Michelangelo's David itself.
Thanks again for the comment, really appreciate it! Wondering why you do it, why people read it, how it is different from Facebook or emailing... and what it means, or more appropriately if it means anything. Then I saw this today. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/news/article.cfm?c_id=6&objectid=11433048

Maybe blog readers have a man crush.... Not all of it, just the stuff about you; actually just one question, the one about how or why you decided art and how you are interested in movie scripts and TV etc. More stuff like that here, well occasionally, would be great.

I can't imagine you as a script writer; I reckon you are a front of house kind of guy not a behind the scenes slave. The world would be a worse place if you ended up writing movie scripts for millions of dollars and we didn't get to see you.

I assume this is the same for everyone, but when I was going through uni there were a few people I met and just thought wow, that person is going to be an incredibly successful professionally. I could just tell; the people who are born with guaranteed success have the balance of humility, talent, diplomacy and smarts. It's sounds more greasy than cold fish and chips, but I've always had the feeling about you. I reckon Kenny Pittock would be a great investment - which is also why I've said it would be helpful to have an online e-commerce Kenny Pittock shop. I think you'd be really surprised how well that would go.

I loved PICA-langelo's David and the red shorts, but not as much as the green ones.
Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07033381689825145910noreply@blogger.com
